Hotline Support for Ukrainian Veterans
Hotline crisis support is the first-line assistance for veterans, their families, and all Ukrainians in difficult situations.
UA VETERANS, with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, translated and published a book by American author Dr. Angie Yoder-Maina, director of the Resilience Institute for Strength and Empowerment at Florida State University, about restoring mental health in countries that have survived the war. The book, with a circulation of 1000 copies, will be simultaneously presented and distributed free of charge in 15 different locations in Ukraine. In addition, it is possible to participate online.
We invite you to a unique presentation of the book by the American author, experienced peacebuilder and director of the Institute for Resilience at Florida State University (USA) – Angie Yoder-Maina. Her work "HEALING as a Guarantee of Peace: An Approach to Peacemaking in Traumatized Societies" is a profound and practical guide for societies that have experienced violent conflict.

For more than 30 years, Angie Yoder-Maina has worked in post-conflict regions around the world, helping thousands of people cope with trauma. Her ideas are especially relevant for Ukraine, which needs a deep transformation after large-scale losses.
