Ukrainian Schools and Colleges Join the "Education Without Stress" Project

UA VETERANS is pleased to partner in this vital project to support mental health for Ukrainian educators and students. The at-Risk Mental Health Support For Ukrainian Teachers & Students (#NoStressED) project is being implemented by the Charity Fund "Act4Ukraine" with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

The main goal of the project is to provide Ukrainian educational institutions with tools and unique American experiences to create a favorable psycho-emotional climate. As part of the project, a practical training course for educators will be developed, which will be available to take online for free, and participants will receive a certificate.

"Education Without Stress" is a long-overdue project for Ukrainian children, parents, and educators. How can we reduce children's anxiety related to learning? How can we decrease the levels of aggression, conflicts, misunderstandings, bullying, and body-shaming in Ukrainian educational institutions? How can we support educators, students, and pupils in these challenging times? Or how can we lessen the feelings of loneliness for those engaged in online learning? We will address all these issues through collaboration with educational institutions," said project coordinator Anna Romanova.

The project began with an anonymous survey to identify problems among educators, students, and parents.
